DoKoMi '12 (Part I)

Hello my Dears!

Today's post will be about a convention

called DoKoMi in Düsseldorf (Germany)

[26.05-27.05]

I was very excited 'bout the convention this year, not only because of the new location but mostely 'cause I would meet a lot of my german friends.

We already left Luxembourg on Friday and I still had to do a few things for my cosplays. I' ve made one hour before an impro-tail for the Horo cosplay and it looked...well...not like the tail I wanted xD So I took the chance and handsew for two hours in our car the missing parts of the cosplays (of course I didn't finished them -.- Thanks God that I took along my sewing machine xD").

I would wear Horo on Saturday.

When I prepared everything for Saturday I noticed that I've forgotten the anklets from my Cosplay...and I came up with the GREAT idea of using my dark blue hairband as the missing anklets (fail me xDDD). The cosplay for my brother was finished and it fits him perfectly (lucky 8D)...

The day started already @ 7:30.

We had to hurry after the breakfast and so we didn't lost time in dressing up as Rin and Horo.

Before we actually went to the con. my family came up with the smashing (not) idea of making a little photoshoot with our cospalys _in front_ of the hotel. You can't imagine how many people just stood there and starred at us, while my whole family scurried around us...(hazukashii yo~ XD)

It was very..._very_ hot outside, and the biggest part of the cosplayer just sit there in the shadow and talked with each other.

I was so overwhelmed by those wonderful cosplays that I simply couldn't be the whole time in character. I took pictures here and there, squeaked when I saw one of my favourite characters and went then to the japanese garden.

I saw a few more Horo cosplayer who were super cute, but I was too shy to speak with 'em.

Gladly I met my friends from Germany and I was so, soo happy to talk with them. I also made new friendships with such cute and wonderful people, thank you so much for this wonderful day *kisses*

Hi my Dears!

Today I stayed at home insteat of going to school.

Why?

My foot bent back yesterday when I tried to run out of the classroom.

I wore highheels and at first it didn't hurt.

After three steps I felt a huge pain in that foot. At first I thought it would get better over night

but when I tried to get up in the morning, I saw that my foot had a bit of a...blue-yellowish color around the area where it hurts. Also it was a bit swallowed.

I decided to go to the doc.

He gave me some medi's against the pain, a sock (it would take away the pain -> no way xD") and sth

to bind.

He told me that this might be nothing to worry about

but when it still hurts after one - two weeks I have to go to hospital and check my foot again

In three weeks I have to go to the con, so I _really_ hope that my foot will feel

better after 2-3 days and that I don't have to go to hospital

Aww today we have such wonderful weather, it's hot and sunny and I want to eat icecream! x33~

I went yesterday to Trier (Germany)

and bought a few stuffs ^^

Well I actually went to Trier 'cause I needed fabric for my cosplays
but I still bought a few beauty products
(They were so cheap >///<)

Yesterday was a long day...we were in Trier for...8hrs.

And I ate a looooot x'D"

a bit too much for doing a diet xD

But whatever, I still continue with the diet, yesterday was...an exception |D"

 

btw: Lost already 7 lbs woot woot XD

But I bet I gained a bit because I ate so much yesterday *laugh*

 Hi my Dears!

How are you today?

Here comes my second W.I.P
again a cosplay I sew at the moment ^^

I would be very happy about some comments and your opinion.
I want to improve myself and this only works with the cooperation of other people, so if you don't like on how it looks, jsut say why you don't like it, the same goes for the opposite: tell my why you like it~

 So here's my second character, do you have an idea who it is? ♥

I received my wig a few days ago, I'm gonna take some picture's of it, when I have styled it ^^

W.I.P #001

Hi Dears!

At the moment I'm working on 5 cosplays at the same time, don't ask me why, 'cause I just need two for the next event in Mai (Dokomi -> Germany)

One of the costumes is for my brother, he's actually doing this, but I give him some tips and help him a bit with his first sewing experiences ^^

Anyway here are some progress pics 'bout one of my costumes, guess whom I'm gonna cosplay as ^.~

I came with the idea of making this cosplay like...three years ago. At this time nobody has cosplayed her yet and I was happy to be the first one.

The problem was: I never have had enough self confidence to do it actually, so it took me about a few months for putting the descision of doing this cosplay on my wishlist.

Three years ago I bought the fabric, but I couldn't find the perfect fur colour for the ears and the tail. I want it to look as realistic as possible and so I had to wait another three years.

During those three years cosplayer started to get attentive of this character and again I asked myself if it will fit me. I asked a few friends of mine, and they just said 'Go ahead, you'd look cute'

Thanks to my friends I started sewing on this cosplay, but stopped, when I couldn't find the fur.

This problem was solved....three months ago

Lucky me, 'cause she's one of my all-time favourite anime character
